DESIGN & METALS:
My work is inspired by nature, texture, and a modern elegant aesthetic. Using the Korean metal technique of keum boo, I add 24k gold accents to my oxidized silver and gold jewelry in the national parks and Japanese textile collections. My love of pearls also led me to create a collection of modern classic pearl jewelry.
I work in sterling silver, oxidized sterling with keum boo accents, gold, pearls, and other gemstones.
I create unique textures utilizing original photographs I have taken while traveling. Through etching, texturing, and keum boo, or incorporating pearls and gemstones, I create elegant, modern pieces that are distinctive and versatile.
My process is very detail-oriented and maybe even a bit obsessive. Excellent craftsmanship is non-negotiable for me. I want the finished piece to be as perfect as I can make it.
My design mantra is “elegant simplicity”. I design wearable art jewelry that can be worn day into evening.

During the shipping, all of my jewelry is covered by Jeweler's Mutual insurance for the full value of each item. I'm able to provide shipping services through USPS Priority Flat Rate Box, UPS, or FedEx. If you require your item faster than regular delivery times - I”ll try to make arrangements.. Just give me a call at 240-704-8150 so that I can arrange overnight shipping with FedEx 2nd Day PM or Overnight UPS/FedEx service and provide you with rates.
Please get in touch with me, if you would like to pick up your order directly from the studio. Following my confirmation, you can pick up your order from my studio at the Torpedo Factory Art Center 105 North Union Street, Studio 201, Alexandria, Virginia 22314 United States.
I do offer local delivery on a case by case basis. Please contact me if you would like to get a local delivery and I’ll try my best to accommodate.
I take the protection of your information seriously, and I will never spam you or sell your personal data to third parties. For order confirmation, shipping, and tracking updates, I need your contact information so that I can contact you.

RETURNS AND REPAIRS
Custom, customizable and special orders are not returnable for exchange or credit.
Estelle Vernon Designs offers a 7-day exchange-or credit-only policy. (As a small business that primarily creates one-of-a-kind and limited production pieces, I am unable to provide refunds.) If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you must contact me within 7 days of receipt of the jewelry by the purchaser to obtain a return code and mailing address, in order to initiate the exchange or credit process. For exchange or credit to be considered, the item must be in new, unworn condition and include all original packaging. I reserve the right to refuse a credit or exchange if the item is determined to be damaged. Please include a copy of the paid invoice or the name of the gift giver.
You must send the package insured for the full amount paid, tracked, and requiring signature confirmation, before it is eligible for credit or exchange. Please note that I cannot be held responsible for packages that are lost during transit.
Credit will belong to the original purchaser. Exchange of a gifted piece may be made by the original purchaser or by the recipient.
All jewelry is carefully inspected before leaving my studio. If you received a damaged or incorrect item, please call me within 24 hours of receipt of the item.
In the event of a subsequent need for repair, please contact me immediately for instructions. I will cover the costs of repairs caused by defects, but not shipping, for 3 months after purchase. After inspection of the item, I will let you know if I think the damage was caused by a defect in creation or improper care of the item. I will be happy to repair an item, for a fee, should the damage be determined to be caused by improper care or negligence.
Jewelry that is returned for repair must be shipped in a rigid box and then placed inside of another rigid box like a flat rate box. Please send your item insured for its full value, tracked and with signature confirmation. Please call me at 240-704-8150 or email me prior to sending back any jewelry for repair. I will supply you with the proper mailing address at that time.

JEWELRY CARE:
To help protect your jewelry, keep it in the enclosed anti-tarnish wrappings when not being worn. When needed, wash all jewelry with mild soap and water to remove skin oils and dirt. A new baby-size toothbrush is perfect for this. Rinse well and dry completely before re-wrapping.
Oxidized and iridescent patina jewelry should never be cleaned with any silver polish or cleaning cloth as that will remove the color
All my jewelry is shipped with a care card and instructions.
To protect your precious jewelry, avoid wearing it in the pool or hot tub, as chemicals can oxidize your metals and damage your jewelry. It is also wise not to wear them when sleeping, gardening, or working out. In addition, children and pets should not be allowed to play with your jewelry.
Secure your jewelry in protective anti-tarnish wrappings when not wearing it, to keep them from getting scratched and or tarnished.
